28 hours 14 minutes and counting...

Taken from the official site:
”With the domestic program on hold the fan attention will obviously remain on the transfer market which will be a hive of activity ahead of the closure of the summer window. Sundays press was again full of rumour and speculation but the manager summed up that nothing would be fully known until the closing of the window at Tuesday at 17.00"

They more or less encourage us to keep a close look at the transfer market!
As “hints” or speculations like this are extremely rare at the OS it seems to me as if the Club is pretty confident that they will land the deals.
My guess is that Collins is lost and that some kind of attacking reinforcement will be seen (as we have thought all along). Please let it be a quality player.
The Savio rumour also has a credible ring to it.

That's true. And we will know about the Savio swap already tomorrow morning as Italy closes their window at midnight. So if we do land Da Costa (which we also will have information about tomorrow) we will certainly see at least one of Collins, Upson or Faubert off.
But remember that 5 PM tomorrow isn't the hour when everything will be revealed. Last season we got to know about Ilunga (I think it was, or Di Michele) two days after the deadline. So they can keep us nervous for another day or two...

I don't believe Savio is going anywhere; nor should he, losing an potential attacking midfielder for yet ANOTHER centre back is ludicrous. We need another CB like a moose needs a hat-rack. Besides, Savio is ill, not "unhappy" as is reported. Patience is required here, not adding fire to the flames of spectulation...

Well, sadly, I'm wrong. Bankers 1 - West Ham Vision 0.

As I said on Sunday - no sense at all in this - we were told Savio was one for the future so whats the piont on moving him on?

Bad vibes from this move - De Costa is not top class at all - are we getting ready for the drop to the fizy pop?

Future is getting dimmer by the hour - next will be Upson gone; whos comming in - our previous scot captain?!!

I doubt this is a sign that our future has gotten any dimmer. Our economic situation is as it is and they are trying to do the best of it.
I agree that we sell this young prospect too soon but the Club has an intricate puzzle to lay down before the window closes (in a few hour now). Considering the depth of the squad I think I’ll take a player that could do a decent job for us this season before a prospect that needs time to develop. Especially since we have another decent youngster with similar qualities – Stanislas.
